Route recommendation for campervan and vehicles with trailers

Take the A22 motorway exit Mantova Sud and follow your GPS directions to Governolo.

Cross the bridge over the River Mincio and after 300 metres at the roundabout on SP33, take the first exit towards Governolo (SP482, Strada Ostigliese).

After about 1 km, turn right into Via Alfonso Lamarmora and continue straight ahead. You’ll recognise the correct entrance by our sign. At this junction, there is a small stonemason with a yellow crane (see photo).

Carry on straight ahead at the church; you can ignore the no-entry sign and follow our sign.

This road leads you up onto the embankment and becomes Strada San Leone Magno.

Keep going straight. After about 600 meters, you will reach your destination on the right-hand side. A road leads down to the campsite on the right from the embankment.
IMPORTANT: As soon as you arrive the village Governolo, we do not recommend using Google Maps! Google Maps takes you via a different route to Governolo, which is unsuitable for campervans and caravans!
